To enhance students’ English ability and awaken their interest in language, our school launched an exchange programme to the United States in 2013, namely “Experience the Fruitful and Amazing American Student Life”.

After a series of English activities and a selection process, students were selected to join this valuable experience that was organized by the Forte International Exchange Association. Students had the opportunity to experience life abroad as well as practice and use English in a real world situation. The students could personally observe and experience different lifestyles and cultures during the exchange programme.

Last year two of our students participated in a 9 month exchange programme to the United States. Chan Wai Kwan and Wong Kit Shan went to Florida and Texas, respectively.

During the summer holidays last year, students Chan Tang Fung and Lam Wing Yan had the chance to participate in an exchange to Australia for 3 weeks.

This programme was sponsored by ProjectWecan and its main focus was to improve students’ English ability. They have already completed the exchange programme and are back at school.

Valentine's Day activities were held in the lunch break at the hall on 07 Feb 2013.

The Form 1 Orientation Day was held the 16^th July 2012 with various game booths, such as Spelling, Numbers, Dates, Hobbies and Tongue Twisters.

The teachers in charge of each game prepared the materials well in order to provide a comprehensive English learning environment for the new F.1 students. There were two rounds of students that came to this English orientation program. They all enjoyed it thoroughly, with their classmates.

Students who collected the most stamps at the game booths were awarded with different prizes for encouragement.

The first stage of the F.1 Bridging Course 2012-13 which was held on 18^th & 19^th July 2012 was designed as a theme-based English reinforcement course. During the briefing, the teachers shared different topics with the new F.1 students so as to strengthen their fundamental knowledge.

It was really a great pleasure to see that they actively joined the events and found them enjoyable.
